Rain Tree Studio (RTSMedia.com) was originated as a work at home business/s-corp for the purpose of independent software consulting in 2006. At that time I was working as a self-employed software consultant. For the past 4 1/2 years, however, I have been an Applications Consultant for Humana, Inc. My primary responsibility there is to serve as a developer and subject matter expert for the Microsoft SharePoint product.

During the course of the last few years I have learned a lot about SharePoint. Through failures and successes, I have been taught valuable lessons on how to implement SharePoint effectively in a large enterprise (we have over 30,000 employees and 4,000 sites). What I will attempt to do on this site is to share some of these learnings. I am also available for small, work at home projects, if someone has a need.

As they say in all the disclaimers, the opinions expressed on this site are mine and mine alone. They do not reflect the position of my current employer or the hot dog vendor on the corner for that matter :) Neverless, I feel I have some helpful information to share to anyone with a role similar to mine.
